Singing takes alot of practice and patience from your family...
Its like any other muscle..You have to do a workout...Try singing scales until you get to those higher notes until you feel like you have to strain,(Dont try to kill yourself to hit them) then go back down....Keep doing this and you should train your vocal chords.....Baby steps.....
Sing along with an easy song...lower keys first...What comes to mind first is like Poison....I know...I know,Poison sux ...but Brets voice is easier than hell to sing with....He dont have much of a range....

Its all about conditioning.....
I run my cities waterplant by myself from midnight to eight A.M.
This place has awsome accustics..So I work on singing as much as I can at work...
I just have to get my vocal chords stronger so that i dont "POP" during pitch changes...I have spent years as the lead singer for the bands I have been in,And have been simi-retired for some years now,So all I have been doing is working on guitar....Before, my guitar skills lacked the luster and I could sing anyhting I wanted....Now its the other way around......
I have to work at singing that at one time was second nature to me.....
Getting old sux.......

Vocals are gonna take some time......Im rusty....

If so thats just 2 stages of me recording it....Without,And with the Solo,Back ground Vocals...

I put Blizard,And Diary in and just play along with them, I could do that all day...
I wasnt sure about posting "ME" doing a Rhoads/Ozzy song unless I could do it justice...
But I have studied/admired him for 27 years....He made me LEARN to play the guitar.....
But thank you for your comment,And the encouragment to keep going.....
I have a Final track with all the song EQ'ed/Mixed,Ready for the vocals,,It sounds 10 times better than those.The Bass thumps, And the solo isnt so in your face...It blends in better.....
