    hey bro! you got me thinking on Strats. Im looking to buy a Mexican Strat soon. now, i know you know your stuff about Fenders, what are the nice pickups for strats? i want a rounded open tone with nice flutey mids in the neck pup. ive been researching 57 vintage and texas specials, what are your thoughts mate?

    It really is nice to be back and I certainly missed you and the rest of the guys here. I'm sorry to hear about your brother's baby....that is just awfully sad.     I saw a band down in Key West last summer-The Lead Guitarist was playing a black strat through a Blues Deluxe-He a pedal tuner, a Boss SD-1 overdrive and a Line 6 DL4 delay--That's all he had and he covered lots of 80's and 90's rock, classic rock and blues with this rig--I was really amazed at how much sonic ground he covered with very little help-

    I wouldn't shy away from a Blues Deluxe at all-

    I had a Hot Rod Deluxe for years, I sold it earlier this year because it wasn't used anymore--It was a solid amp too-

    yeah the shipping kills it mate...... gotta say im very interested in the kit amps... just worried id kill myself haha. i keep thinking of the Fender Blues Deluxe, i just wish there was a head version, id like a 2x12 next, the 1x12 are a bit choked for me...

    Mate.. the guy who had the Gibson LP classic has got another one, immaculate.....oh man, im torn!!! self my life away.......
