  1. Thanks for the tip Ben. I'll look into them and see if anyone has one I can check out.
  2. yeah, a good amp is essential. You might look for one of these, they are a bit cheaper than the Ampeg, and half the power, but the same style. Ive heard they sound pretty good, pretty much a micro version of the old Acoustic 360 (very common in the 70s, John Paul Jones used them, among others)

  3. Hi Ben. No I didn't. I am seriously looking at that VR mini. To be honest, I did not want to get another amp for her yet, but the one that came with the package just don't cut it.
  4. Hey, did you pick out an amp for your daughter yet?
  5. No worries, Ive been busy too. I'm glad your daughter likes the bass, pretty soon you'll be able to jam together
  6. Hi Ben, How have you been? Sorry I haven't been in touch lately, I've been pretty busy. My daughter love her bass. And, it fits her awesome. I'll post a couple pics soon.
  7. Yeah, I wish the MLPers would leave that shit over there. That's why I like it here, you don"t get all that bullshit between the regulars here.
  8. Dont know, I'm guessing Alex. Me and Blues were talking about Xmas presents when it was closed. I get it though, it only seems to be when those MLP threads come out that people get nasty
  9. Ben, who dropped the hammer on Blues's Mlp thread last night? When I logged off, it was already worked out.
  10. Thanks man, I am getting pretty comfortable on bass. For someone who always considered himself a lead guitarist, I've always enjoyed playing a good rhythm part too, bass is just a different approach to the rhythm. Its alot of fun to play around with. I already have the lead guitar worked out, I've done several takes so far, but wanted to focus my attention on the rhythm track first, now I can set my energy towards the guitar. The lead styles will be very derivative of Jimmy Page and David Gilmour
