    Hello everyone!

    Hi!

I came over from MLP (my name is LPSGplayer over there).

I love collecting gear and am G.A.S inflicted! A bit about me is that I play in an Eagles tribute party band and we play parties, events, occasions. I play the part of Joe Walsh, who is my guitar hero. I play classic rock and electric blues music. That is my favorite stuff and what I really like to play.

I've collected about 30 guitars so far. I play mainly through a Fender '65 Twin Reverb amp and also have a Marshall halfstack for some gainier stuff. My #1 guitar is a 2000 Gibson Les Paul Classic that just got loaded with some WB Habanero pickups that I absolutely love. I got them from BB (BB's Tone Solutions). It looks very clownbursty in the pic on the wall but it really isn't that bad in this pic.

Here are some pics of the rest of my gear:

L-R: Epiphone 90s Explorer, Gibson LP SmartWood Studio, Gibson LP Standard, Gibson LP Classic (#1), Fender MIJ HSS Strat

Gibson Angus Young Signature and Gibson Special Faded SG's

Fender MIM Strat and Fender 87 USA Strat Plus

Carvin CT6M and PRS SE Custom 22

Fender Am. Special Tele, Fender MIA 83 Tele, Fender MIM Roadworn Tele

Fender MIM Fat Tele and Fender MIJ Open G (5 string) Tele

Marshall Valvestate VS100 head and JCM900 Straight Cab

Morgan Monroe Cedar Hill and Alvarez acoustic

1973 Yamaha 12-string, Dean acoustic, Fender MIM Jazz Bass, and 50s Kay acoustic

Fender Twin Reverb 65 Reissue (main amp)

    Penco 1975 12-string and Taylor 414ce

(L-to-R Top Row): Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret, Catalinbread SFT, Modtone Speedbox, Modtone Extreme Metal, BOSS Blues Driver, BOSS Noise Suppressor, KORG Pitchblack Tuner. (L-to-R Bottom Row): Line 6 Modulation, BOSS Digital DD3 Delay, Modtone Analog Delay, BOSS CS1 Compressor/Sustainer, Modtone Volume, Dunlop Zakk Wylde Wah.

That's pretty much everything I think! The only changes that will be happening will be on my pedalboard I'm ditching the BOSS Blues Driver for a Bad Monkey Analog Overdrive and I'd like to add an Xotic EP Booster. Also my Valvestate Marshall head will be traded for a JCM 800 or 900 at some point! And I'll probably get more guitars!

    Austin

Welcome to GT! Wow, you've got quite a collection of great looking guitars. I find that the cherry type bursts don't really photograph well and look much less "clowny" in person. I think yours looks great. With the switch from the ceramic pups to the Habeneros you must get some wicked tone. Friggin awesome looking pedalboard as well. If you don't mind me asking, how big is that room where you keep all your gear? It must be friggin huge. Once again, welcome and start a few new threads.

Yeah I find that as well. My cherryburst looks different in every pic I take of it.

I absolutely LOVE the WB pickups in there. It's a shame they are no longer made. The stock ceramic 496r/500t didn't do anything for me.

I'm not sure exact measurements of my guitar studio but it's a pretty big room. Only downside is that I'm running out of places to put guitar hangers. I have no more room for hangers unless I find I way to fit them in between each hanger. I really like AXE Claws for durability and safety. They do mess up the nitro finish so beware. I learned the hard way. Now I have premie baby socks over the claws so future Gibson's aren't marred. My guitar tech is the one who told me. I hadn't noticed that it was eating away the lacquer. He noticed it when working on my LP and he said "you hang them on a wall don't you". Then he told me about how nitrocellulose is very sensitive to guitar stands and hooks.

I really like my Pedalboard. It took a long time to get it where I want it. I'm gonna trade the Blues Driver for a Bad Monkey for a lead boost and probably get the Xotic EP Booster I mentioned which is a Echoplex preamp type pedal to fatten up the tone when I use single coil guitars. I'll just kick it in when I pick up a Fender Tele or Strat. My main "dirt" is the Modtone Speedbox. Totally amazing, and a steal for the price they go for. I'm surprised they aren't $100+.

    Thanks for the welcome!

That Angus SG looks really dark, almost black, is that just the camera angle?
