An exclusive sneak peek at a lil prodject im doing at the moment over at MLP... A member of MLP and here wanted to do the solo work so I said Knock yourself out,I was going to ,But I have wanted to do a jam with him for a while so,,I'll keep you posted................... Thanx guys....Update....
It fell through..I have started on the solo work and I also have the background vocals done......  I used my Octaver on the lower register voice parts..  And ran my SM 58 through my guitar pedal board and in parts of the song I sound like Oz..  ...Very saturated voice....Stereo chorus,Delay...And Double tracked....Im going to do the solo with my Jackson RR 3"V",Cuz it has alot of trem work,And its double tracked as well.Randy did this alot to make his solo's harder to figure out.....It worked  ...I play solo's alot better on the wider boards/Necks..Besides my jackson has that High ,Hollow Rhoads sound  ...It will take a bit,Ill keep ya in the know..Thanx again for the encouragement.........

My wife thought that I could do the solo better.....  Soooooooooo.. I may do another take at it,She is my toughest critic...( besides myself ) She has heard me play for over 19 years ,She should know...  We'll see what happens......

Vocals are comming along...Getting easier...Wont be long now....
I re-EQ'ed,And mixed the track so now the bass thumps and the solo wont blast your ears out when It comes in.....That copy is at home in the fostex and Im using it for the vocals........

Ok,,,, here we go.....
This is what I have ....I dont know I may redo it later.... Its funny how something like singing on a recording can humble you.... I guess back in the day when I would sing in bands,That was in the moment, All you had to fall back on was your memory of the songs,You didnt have it on a recording..  Im not making excuses.. ,I have lost alot on the vocals during the years...So take a listen and I hope you like it........ My main goal was to do a tribute to Randy Rhoads,So I think I did at least that.... ..Every one plays Crazy Train,Mr. Crawley..I wanted to do a song that you dont hear to often......"Believer"........Peace....Jody.. Thanx,I do what I can.... The funny thing is that I ran my mic through my guitars pedal board for the vocals and double tracked the wizz out of them, Then I did alot of panning L/R to get as close as I could to Ozzy's vocal effects.......I threw everything but the kitchen sink at them..(I even tried my Wah for laughs).....They could be better.....But my family is sick to death of hearing this song....
