    Red face Home Studio Help

I need some advice on production equipment. I recently bought Reason 5 and have been using it to make beats. I am interested in a Recording software though. Is Propellerhead Record 1.5 any good? I play guitar and would like to do sampling/live sampling. What is your advice for a recording software?

Also, I am interested in getting a MIDI keyboard. I am currently looking at the M-Audio Pro 49. What is your advice for MIDIs and mixers? I don't know much about the technical aspects. What would be good for using guitars (electric and acoustic) and sampling.

I am very experimental with music, but I am just beginning to learn about the whole production aspect. Any advice would be appreciated.

The only advice I can give you is to try and download a demo version of Propellerhead, so you can see how easy it might, or might not, be to use.

As far as midi, I'm not sure what advice to give, as I'm not experienced with it at all.

    Hope that was somewhat helpful.
