Aria Pro II TA-60
Anyone have any clue as to how much this thing might be worth? I think it's an early Korean model -- late 80's maybe. I've seen a fair number in red, black & sunburst but this one of the few I've seen in pearl white.
I'm considering selling it and my old Peavey T-60 (something about T's & 60's) to get a solid body with a nice whammy bar.

Re: Aria Pro II TA-60
Well I had to register just to reply to this.
I have the exact same guitar.
I replaced the black satellite knobs
with some Gibson hi speed gold knobs.
Otherwise it is totally identical.
Its a mid 80's model.
Origin is questionable.
Aria shifted production from Japan to Korea at the time, but they maintained production in Japan for the high end instuments.
While this might not be a high end instument it is pretty darn close to it.
Unless you want to lay out thousands of $ more to replace what you already have
I would suggest you keep it. Its a gem.
Otherwise, you'll get 4 or 5 hundred dollars max.

Re: Aria Pro II TA-60
I'm giving you the same answer!
Don't sell it.
I've the same identical guitar, I've changed the knobs with the Gibson ones and the HB surrounds with two ebony I made myself.
It's an highly under-rated instrument and, if you like it, you shouldn't sell it. Try to compare it with similar guitars, or with very different ones!
Some years ago I've had the chance to make a comparison with a Jem 777 flower pattern, that was the guitar of the other guitar player in my band... Talking about the power of the magnets and the deepness of the sound: no story! The Jem looked like a noisy mosquito!
Someone out there will start screaming after this, but that was my impression and, above all, of the other guy who had spent so much money to buy that plastic toy!
So, save the money to buy your solid body or whatevere else, but don't sell the TA! Bye.
