Horse, I've got to tell you that after I clicked on the first video and saw the guy with the Chimp I thought it was going to be a joke. However, for some reason, I continued. I'm glad I did. The playing was no joke, it was excellent. Thanks for posting these Videos. Right on.

Yep Dave is a rare talent as far as im concerned, highly melodic and perfect vibrato/legato, every day i listen to him..

It always amazes me when the older members talk about legendary guitarists whose music they grew up with. I envy you. In 35 years from now who am I going to talk about as being the guitarist of MY day? Buckethead? It makes me weep for my generation.

Ace is who made me first want to play guitar back when I was 11 (1975-76).

But it is BB King, Dickey Betts, Gary Moore, SRV, Gary Rossington, etc. that inspire me to play these days.

Holy cow, old post. That's good though. For me, it always was and always will be Duane Allman of the Allman Brothers Band. I always love to hear him on the slide. I like to think what he would be like now if he were still alive.
