I'm not one to change much on an axe, besides set-em up and a few pick-up swaps. I'm a sucker for a stock/original guitar as each has it's own feel and sound and am a firm believer in amps and speakers for different tone. If I don't like one or two on any particular night, I'll just grab a different one and play it for a while. Here is most of the Axes I have just lay-in around the house. http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...000_2964-1.jpg
what was that story you told us a long time ago about your cat or something knocking one down
dont hijack the thread, just short and to the point

I need new pics. This one is boring the crap out of me.
I like that Melody Maker!!!
Thanks man! I also have a 57 LP Jr. RI, only 3 mods. Straplocks, RS electronic upgrade kit, and a 1957 P-90.
$345. Yep, it's an original.
Damn nice. I have the SG jr in my avatar with a tone pros locking wraparound and I'm considering the rs harness. Was it really worth it for your lp jr?
I was also thinking of getting a custom pg cut for an hb and dropping an angus youg pup in but I really love the p90.
Schaller straplocks on everything I own.

HA! yes. I have a pug. Pretty gross dog BUT my gf's cat is 10 times worse. It smells, it drops dingle berries all over the house, when covering its poop it steps in it then smears it on the wall beside its litter box, it barfs everywhere including in my damn shoes, its piss smells no matter how much litter you put on it or fabreeze you spray ontop of that and it sleeps on my fucking pillow when I'm not home.
My dog poops and pees outside. Barfs only on tile when it happens and knows to stay the fuck off my stuff. Cats are "Nasty fucking animals"!
OOPS ~~> back on topic. Yes strap loks on all stringed instruments.
Maybe my assessment was worded a little too harshly.
Cats are fascinating animals, just lousy pets.
Do you keep them in the house?
I don't think so....
Do you keep them outside?
Then all your neighbors now have a cat now. Real neighborly....
When I lived in the country, I always had a few around - that's where they can be a cat.
Here in the desert, they don't last long.
Coyote food...

Hi, Bobbo!
If my 1962 Stratocaster has taught me anything, it's to not make any changes to a guitar that can't be easily reversed...and to always keep the original parts. <g>
With that in mind, I did make a few changes to my 2007 First Run Gibson Robot...I added Scaller Straplocks and a "Blue Edge Lit" transparent acrylic Bobby Lee "Screwless" pickguard.
Extra protection for the guitar in the long run, and if I ever do sell it, I remove a few screws and it's back to the way it was originally.
