    Strings...

What gauge and brand do you use on your guitar.
    I use Ernie Ball 11's
    Sometimes D'iaddario.
    Stay tuned for new signature...

Same here, I like high nickel content and use 10's on everything I own.

On my Gibsons I use the Gibson Vintage strings, but they're kinda pricey.

What is that site Rich talked about?
    Webstrings.com or something?

    Re: Strings...

I've been using Daddario since 1994.
They offer the best compromise between tone, feel and longevity for me.

Most of my guitars are tuned to Eb. I have 11-49 on my Les Pauls, and 10-46 on everything else.
Guitars in standard tuning all have 10-46.

In the eighties I used GHS Boomers. After a couple of years playing bass, I switched back to guitar again in 1993 and naturally I bought Boomers again.
Either I ran into a bad batch, or their quality had really gone downhill, but they were horrible. Went to Daddario and never looked back.

I really have been diggin the tones I'm getting from the Dean Markley Blue Steel's .
Bot I love the feel of the Elixir , and they seem to compensate for the nut binding ... I't the coating I suppose ...

Never tried EB acoustics, I go with D'addario for all my non-electic needs.

I'm not liking the webstrings I got...I had a pair of Elixirs on there but I replaced the high e with one from webstrings. It kinda grips onto your finger. The Elixirs are great for sliding though.
