... in the whole freaking world. At 6:30 tonight she was hit and killed in front of my house. I need to know what kind of person runs over a family pet, and don't have the common descency to stop and tell someone?? Are people really that uncaring? Do they just have no respect for any thing??

We have a new "little dog" and I have never owned a small dog, and I worry about her getting hit if she runs into the road, because she is too small to see and she moves as quick as lightning -

I know there is nothing to be said to comfort you, but remember the good times---

OH NO!!!! That's heartbreaking! I'm sooo sorry.

I had a dog named Fluffy. I was about three years old. We all went into the car and not far away we found him run over in the middle of the street. They just drove away too. I was three and I still remember seeing it like it was yesterday.

To some pets are just "pets" but if you ever had one that loved you more than anything . . . those ones become something special that the people who say they are just "pets" will never understand.

Thank you guys, for the kind words. Loosing a pet is as bad as loosing any other family memeber to me. It is so strange how these thing we take for granted end up meaning so much to us.
