I am not liking what I have (not) been seeing.

No new posts, nonone comes over here much anymore, we are losing our little corner of the webz. I hope somebody has something good to lie to everybody about soon. I miss hanging out here, and shooting the bull with you guys.

The build will be very interesting--it is a build for a friend without much extra money, but in need of a good, quality guitar--

A tele style build--it will be interesting as I plan on demonstrating that you can build a good quality, good playing and sounding guitar for very cheap if you take your time and bargain hunt--

Ok guys, it's that time again!!! Where is everybody? First, is everybody still ok. I see people popping in and out, so I know some of the rgulars are still trying to keep us going. This is the only place to come where there is no B/S. Members are polite and respectful to each other, most of the posts are helpful and contain info, and most of all its so laid back here. There are new members here that have checked in and never came back.

Summer is almost over, and everyone will have time to get back into playing. I hope to see more posts.

I had no idea man. I hope all is well. Did you just find out about it, or is this a battle you have been fighting for a while? Either way, I am glad to hear things are going a little better. I wish you and your family all the best man.

I found out in early April. Went into chemo for three months then surgery in August. So all in all, things went pretty fast. Still have at least another month of recovery ahead of me. Slow and frustrating.

First, Bobb... best wishes on a speedy recovery!!!

Now as for checking in, been busy lately as I've switched from teaching guitar at the local elementary school to the middle school now that my son is in 6th grade. At the elementary school I was pretty much it as they'd never had a guitar program before and I was just doing after-school 1 day per week. But at the new school they have a basic program established (2 periods per day x 5 days per week) but the guitar teacher is also the choir director and guitar kinda' gets left in the dirt. Enter me, who will be taking the more advanced kids (ones who play on their own or had it from last year) and I'll be working on more advanced techniques, some basic music theory, etc. I'll be onsite 2-3 days per week for both periods so my time commitment just expanded greatly. So busy as you can see!

In other news, I just picked up a Les Paul Studio 60's Tribute Goldtop (just like the honeyburst one I had last spring but ended up selling to help pay for the return of my Les Paul Custom). And I'm still in the middle of swapping out the pickups in that Custom (i.e., I've pulled stuff out of the guitar but haven't put anything back into it yet - LOL). Hopefully this week I'll tie up some lose ends and then I'll have something to report back here on.

Good, glad to see you guys posting. I kinda figured with summer everyone had their own thing going on. Now that school is back and summer is slowly turning to fall, I hope you all have more time to hang out.

Blues, three weeks to the Pa Archery season. I don't have to ask if you'll be out,

but when does your season start?

I used to be here all the time before you joined up Bear, kept it going along with Blues, Ben, Gunner - unfortunately i had to have extended period out due to life problems.

Then things got better and i prepared to get back on the wagon here.....

But admin had been handing out VIPs to the members who had been keeping it going like me but....... hmmmmmm
