Well, nots ure if you call it gig. But I played in my youth groups band, I was main rythem, then a guy in his mid 50's named Greg was lead and another girl named Sam was main singer apart from Greg.
It was fun, I just followed Greg and when he did a bar chord I did something that sounded higher. We're pretty much a band now I think, we did a 2 1/2 song set, we would have done 4 or 5 but everybody was busy eating pizza. I didn't eat, just kept playing and practicing, so much fun to play in front of people.
It used to be just Greg as a one man band but now we're 3. I was worried at allot of parts during the gig when my strap started falling off (I was using my accoustic) so I stopped playing for 3 seconds and had to catch up. I could barely hear Sam, somtimes she would sing loud enough into the mic but I kept telling her that we should turn it up, also she kept forgetting the words.
I had fun, I wasn't nervous. However through the gig (I am so proud of myself) my pick kept sliding so my finger kept hitting the strings, it stings I bit not much. Greg and Sam were both plugged in but I strum hard enough that the rythem can still be heard. On Sunday or in 2 weeks I'll pop in with my Les Paul and see how I go.
