MPros or JRX or something entirely different

    Hey,

We're just putting a PA together and we play metal. Will be a quartet, with 2 singers. We're just starting, so smaller venues, but It would be nice not to have to replace a lot of gear when we intend to go to bigger venues. We're also not rich, so bang for the buck is what we're looking for, but we dont want to go behringer cheap.

I found some JBL Mpro415 for 500 bucks a piece and I was wondering if those would put out enough sound with a subwoofer added in there.

We were also looking at the JBL JRX125 dual 15" speakers and wondering if those are loud enough and if they are even that much louder than the Mpros. It looks like the JRX has a bit wider frequency range, but only 3 decibels higher, from 130 to 133. The Mpros require more power too.

Anyway, are we off track here, do we need something more for the metal?

We're also choosing a Mixing board and a power amp. Which brands, and how important are the fx for the mixing in live shows. We were thinking of Yamaha mixing board, 24 inputs, and the power amp would be decided depending on the speakers of course so we're still up in the air on that one.

Anyone have a signal processor they like for metal too?
