I have used egg cartons...in my youth...they just scatter the sound a bit and lower the leakage minumally...but none the less I did use them

also, attenuator for your amp

and really (not to be an old fussy person) you should not be mixing or listening to music too loud for too long....so, attenuator for your amp...and keep the volume down

if you have the drummer problem then garage?
